The Colony Hotel is one of Maine's most outstanding resorts. Spectacularly situated on the rock promontory overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the mouth of the Kennebunk River, the Colony features a heated saltwater swimming pool, private safe surf beach and gorgeous organic gardens. The hotel is within walking distance of the charming village of Kennebunkport. Area attractions include golf, tennis, sea kayaking, nature trails, bicycling, boating, shopping and art galleries.
The Colony Hotel is children and pet-friendly. During the summer months, the hotel offers family entertainment on two nights of each week. Summer Institute participants are welcome to bring their families.

All rooms are quoted single or double occupancy, including breakfast served in the Colony Hotel Dining Room daily. Each additional person in a room (3rd person +) will increase the room rate by $25.00 +.
++ Please note there is an additional Maine room tax of 7%, and a $5.00 service charge per person daily. The rate includes breakfast served either in the Colony Hotel Dining Room or as arranged in a private function for AACC.
Reservations
Reservations can be made by calling the Colony Hotel. Reservations must be made by June 12, 2008, to ensure AACC group rate and availability. Ask for the American Association of Community Colleges meeting to receive the group rate. One night's deposit will be taken with credit card when making the reservation.
The group rate is available 3 days prior to the dates of the room block, based on room availability.
Cancellations
Full refund will be given if reservation is cancelled at least 3 days prior to arrival.
Check-in/Check-out Times
Check-In is at 4:00pm. Check out is at 11:00am.
